Our Programmes

We support all young people, those with special educational needs and disabilities (with an EHCP), underrepresented and disadvantaged groups, black and ethnic minority backgrounds, unemployed

(18-21s), young carers, young people at-risk of becoming NEET, care-experienced, or care leavers,

justice-involved and ex-offenders.

Our tailored curriculum aligns with the CDI Careers, Employability and Enterprise Framework and the revised Gatsby Benchmarks, where learners receive individualised support on areas like emotional well-being and life skills to build a foundation for greater independence.

Transition Support &
Group Interventions

Our interventions enable young people to have positive transitions, develop, grow and make the most of their education, employment, or training.  Transitions are a process that begins long before young people begin in their new setting. It involves saying goodbye to an old and familiar setting and being welcomed into a new one.  We facilitate small groups that provide both a 'farewell' and 'welcome' to support and manage the transition process for sending and receiving settings, ensuring the emotional well-being of all involved.

Supporting the transition between key stages, year 6 primary school-aged pupils into year 7 of secondary school and from secondary school to college or into the world of work.

Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) Employment Pathway

We are committed to making our programmes accessible to a wide range of young people with additional learning needs, focusing on building essential communication, interpersonal, and independent living skills in a safe and supportive environment. Learners receive guidance from specialist staff, connect with peers while developing confidence and practical life skills. From Year 8/9, through independent and impartial career guidance to inform the young person's EHCP and initiate the transition process from an early stage.

Our Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) Programme (with a focus on employment), offers supported work-based learning experiences that prepare young people for post-16 pathways. Such as supported internships, self-employment, a T-Level transition foundation year or entry-level apprenticeships.

Work Experience Preparation
& Support

In preparation for a first-hand experience of the world of work, we use a partnership approach with learners, their families and employers. We embed a supported employment model, using a person-centred approach to explore aspirations, empowering learners to use their strengths,  participate in decision-making, contribute to goal-setting and action planning, as well as identify any challenges or barriers. We support both the learner and the employer in what they want and need to tailor roles and develop on-the-job skills through relationship building.

Topics include job matching, transition preparation, developing independence and instruction in self-advocacy for developing essential skills for their futures.

Supported Work-Based Learning for Schools/ FE Colleges

Our programme follows the Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) curriculum to aid young people with additional support needs and adopts a supported employment model. Using vocational profiling to understand the learner’s needs, developing the skills needed for independence and gaining work experience. Creating the right environment, where learners can build on their unique strengths and set their own goals and offering the right support to help them get there.

It's all about focusing on their journey!  Empowering young people towards their chosen pathway.

For Schools (13-16) This programme builds upon essential skills such as communication, confidence, and self-esteem. Support from career professionals covers emotional well-being, relationships, safety, nutrition, cooking, and money.

For Further Education (17-25) This programme focuses on independent living skills (PfA,) offering support for emotional well-being, relationships, safety, nutrition, cooking, and money management.

Both programmes align with the CDI's Careers, Employability and Enterprise Framework and the Gatsby Benchmarks, including a work experience with job coaching support, gaining industry-relevant skills and knowledge for the workplace.
